Case Study · Real Estate · Utah

Almost two weeks of time back in just over a month.

Phillip Despain runs a real estate business where prospecting, recruiting, follow-up, CMAs, marketing, and planning all compete for the same limited hours. Certified AI Partners helped him turn AI into a daily operating partner that keeps the work moving, even when he steps away.

The problem

Too much important work depended on Phillip being at the desk

Phillip had no shortage of high-value work: prospecting, recruiting, connecting with his sphere of influence, running CMAs, creating marketing, improving his website, and planning the next moves in the business.

The constraint was capacity. If Phillip was with family, at an event, or focused on a new project, the everyday work slowed down with him.

What we did

Built AI into the daily operating rhythm

Step 1

Built AI into the daily rhythm

Phillip began using AI every day across prospecting, recruiting, marketing, sphere-of-influence follow-up, CMA creation, website work, and business planning.

Step 2

Delegated repeatable work

Instead of manually pushing every task forward himself, Phillip can assign outreach, recruiting emails, text follow-up, audits, site patches, content ideas, and planning work to AI.

Step 3

Trained it around how he works

By giving AI context, uploading useful information, and having it learn from people and resources he trusts, Phillip shaped it into a collaborative partner.

The big one

The work keeps moving when Phillip steps away

For Phillip, the biggest return is time. If he has a family party or another commitment, he can assign AI a task and come back to completed progress. That changes the feel of the business: work no longer stops just because he does.

The result

70-110 hours returned in the first month

Since May 13, 2026, Phillip estimates AI has saved him between 70 and 110 hours. Even using the conservative number, that is nearly two full workweeks of time returned.

He now uses AI subagents to handle everyday tasks while he works on new projects, collaborates on ideas faster, and avoids getting stuck staring at a blank page when he needs a plan, campaign, message, or next step.

In his words

Phillip's full review

The AI helps me daily with prospecting, recruiting, marketing, and connecting with my SOI via text. It also runs CMAs for me. I've had it build a website for me, do the SEO/AEO/GEO audits and patches for the site it created, as well as my Lofty site.

It helps me create social media and business plans as well, so I don't get stuck trying to come up with ideas. I collaborate with it and then go execute.

I asked it how much time it thinks it's saved me and it estimates 70-110 hours since 5/13. I tend to agree with it. I was going to say about 20 hours per week before I even asked it. Either way, I've had it for just over a month and if we go with the 70, that's almost two weeks it's given me back.

Honestly, the biggest win for me is time. If I have a family party or something like that, I can give it a task like send X amount of recruiting emails or text XYZ people, and it does it while I'm enjoying my family. The work no longer stops if I do.

I also love how efficient I can be while working. I have subagents working on the everyday daily tasks while I tackle the new projects with it.

Another big win is the ability to train it into the collaborative partner you want it to be by simply having it watch YouTube videos or uploading information from people you connect with. By far this is the best investment I've made in my business.
